THE OPPORTUNITY & OBJECTIVE
Restaurants rarely struggle because they don't have enough offers. They struggle because customers don't remember why they should come back.

When Gola partnered with Le Soleil in February 2026, the challenge wasn't a lack of events, promotions or great food. It was that none of these spoke the same language.

Social media lived independently of paid advertising. Offers appeared without a larger narrative. Entertainment nights came and went without becoming recognizable properties. Every marketing effort worked hard, but not necessarily together.

Instead of treating these as individual problems, we approached them as one.

Our objective was simple:

Build a marketing system where every piece of communication strengthened the brand, every campaign had a purpose and every marketing rupee worked harder than the last.
For the next five months, we worked
shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders, not as an external agency, but as Gola's extended marketing team.

STRATEGY BEFORE CONTENT
The instinct in restaurant marketing is often to start creating.
We chose to start by thinking.
Before producing a single reel or launching a campaign, we mapped how customers should experience the brand online.

Every content decision needed to answer one of three questions:
-
Does this build the brand?
-
Does this showcase the experience?
-
Does this drive people to visit?
Those questions became the foundation of every creative decision we made.
We introduced clearly defined content pillars, ensuring every post had a role instead of simply filling a content calendar.

At the same time, we built a daily Stories strategy to keep the restaurant present beyond the feed, covering live match screenings, behind-the-scenes moments, chef recommendations and everyday happenings that gave audiences a reason to check back consistently.

TURNING EVENTS INTO EXPERIENCES
One of the biggest opportunities we identified was Gola's entertainment programming.
The restaurant already hosted experiences like Bollywood Night, Retro Night, Karaoke Night and live sports screenings.
The challenge wasn't creating these events.
It was making people anticipate them.

Rather than promoting them as isolated announcements, we transformed them into recurring brand properties.
Each experience received its own communication strategy, dedicated creative assets, storytelling and targeted amplification.

As consistency increased, so did audience familiarity.
People weren't simply seeing promotions anymore—they were beginning to associate Gola with experiences worth planning around.
CREATING CONTENT WITH PURPOSE
Content production became an extension of strategy, not a separate exercise.
Across the engagement, Le Soleil planned and executed two professionally directed shoots every month, producing a consistent pipeline of high-quality creative.

Every production was led end-to-end by our team, including:
-
Creative concepts
-
Scriptwriting
-
Production planning
-
Model coordination
-
Creative direction
-
Copywriting
More importantly, every asset was created with a defined purpose.
Some pieces established the brand's personality.
Some showcased signature dishes and cocktails.
Others highlighted limited-time offers.
Some simply entertained.

We also introduced a stronger human element into Gola's communication by featuring the restaurant's own team, creating content that felt authentic, relatable and inherently more engaging than traditional restaurant advertising.

BUILDING TWO MARKETING SYSTEMS INSTEAD OF ONE
One insight shaped the rest of the engagement:
The same content shouldn't be expected to build a brand and drive conversions equally well.

So we stopped asking one channel to do everything.
Instead, we separated communication into two complementary systems.

Organic Social
Instagram became the home for storytelling.
It showcased the people behind the restaurant, signature dishes, cocktails, celebrations and everyday moments that made Gola memorable.
The objective wasn't immediate sales.
It was long-term brand recall.

Performance Marketing
Promotional offers, event announcements and acquisition campaigns were strategically deployed through Meta advertising.

Instead of cluttering the organic feed with repetitive promotional creatives, these campaigns ran as highly targeted dark ads, allowing us to reach the right audience at the right time while preserving the quality of the brand's social presence.

This approach ensured that every platform had a clear responsibility while working together towards the same business objective.

OPTIMIZING EVERY MARKETING RUPEE
Launching campaigns was never the finish line.
Every campaign became a source of insight.
Audience behaviour, creative performance, placements and messaging were continuously analysed and refined throughout the engagement.
The result wasn't just better campaigns.
It was dramatically more efficient campaigns.
Perhaps the strongest indicator of optimisation came from campaign efficiency.
Through continuous refinement of audiences, creatives and campaign structure, Cost Per Click reduced from ₹300 to just ₹1.17, a reduction of more than 99% over the course of the engagement.

GROWTH THAT EXTENDED BEYOND NUMBERS
Better strategy naturally led to better performance.
Instagram grew from 1,986 to 3,367 followers, representing 69.5% community growth in just five months.
More importantly, our campaigns generated 150+ qualified leads, people who weren't just engaging with content, but actively expressing interest in visiting the restaurant.

Because awareness without intent isn't growth.
Intent is.

WHY THIS WORKED
Most restaurant marketing treats branding,
social media and advertising as separate functions.
We deliberately designed them to work as one connected system.

Every campaign began with strategy.
Every piece of content reinforced a larger brand narrative.

Every advertisement amplified work that had already proven itself organically.
Every optimisation informed the next campaign.
Instead of chasing short-term spikes in engagement, we focused on building a repeatable marketing framework, one that balanced brand building with business outcomes.

The result wasn't simply a stronger Instagram presence or more efficient advertising.

It was a restaurant that communicated with greater clarity, marketed with greater consistency and converted attention into measurable growth.
And that's exactly how we believe marketing should work: strategic in its thinking, deliberate in its execution and accountable in its results.
